This policy explains personal information handled through the NOBO Training and Development Services website and related enquiries. NOBO is based at Corner Tshireletso and Morubane Street, Majemantsho Village, Mahikeng, 2745, South Africa.
Information you provide
When you request a training proposal or contact us, you may provide your name, organisation, email address, telephone number, province, preferred contact method and training requirements. An enquiry may also include scheduling, learner numbers, budget and any project details you choose to supply. Required form fields identify information needed to respond; optional fields can be left blank.
The Expression-of-Interest form requests your full name, email address, cellphone number, programme interest and an optional short message. It is not formal learner registration or admission. These details are sent to info@nobotraining.co.za so NOBO can respond. Formal intake is handled separately. Do not provide ID/passport numbers, birth dates, demographic or health information, addresses or identity documents in this enquiry.
How information is used
Information provided to NOBO is used to respond to enquiries, prepare training proposals, communicate about programme availability and arrangements, and support learner-registration and training administration where applicable. We may contact you using the details and preferences you provide. You can ask us to stop optional communications; this does not prevent communications needed to handle an active request or meet applicable obligations.
Certificate verification
A specific verification code is used to look up one credential on the server. The public result may show the learner’s full name to identify the credential holder, document type and number, programme information, relevant qualification facts, dates and status. ID/passport numbers, private file paths and unrelated learner records are not part of the public result. A downloadable verification result records that lookup and is not a replacement certificate. Contact NOBO if a record is inaccurate or you have a privacy concern.
External services and links
The training-enquiry form submits to Formspree for processing. The contact page embeds Google Maps. Some pages load Google Fonts, Font Awesome through Cloudflare's cdnjs service, or the jsPDF library through jsDelivr for verification-document downloads. Your browser connects to these providers when their resources are requested, which can disclose technical information such as your IP address, browser details and referring page. Providers may process information outside South Africa under their own arrangements.
External services have their own privacy practices. See Formspree's privacy policy, Google's privacy policy, Cloudflare's privacy policy and jsDelivr's privacy policy. Following an external link or using email, telephone or WhatsApp also involves the service you choose.
Cookies and technical information
The website's own scripts do not currently set analytics or advertising cookies, or store visitor information in browser local storage. Catalogue searches are processed in your browser and are not submitted to NOBO. The enquiry and verification services use short-lived request controls stored on the server, including a keyed representation of the requesting network address and enquiry retry status; these controls do not store enquiry message contents. Enquiry email is handled through NOBO’s hosting mail service. Hosting and external services may handle technical request information for operation and security; embedded services may use cookies under their own policies. Browser settings can restrict cookies or external resources, although some features may then be unavailable.
Security and retention
Personal information should be limited to what is needed for the relevant enquiry, administration or applicable legal requirements. NOBO's policy is to retain it only for as long as those purposes and applicable obligations require; this website does not specify a fixed retention period. Contact NOBO for information about a particular record.
Reasonable safeguards are necessary to protect personal information. No internet transmission or online service can be guaranteed completely secure. Please contact us promptly about a suspected disclosure or misuse, and confirm an appropriate submission method before sending sensitive documents.
Your privacy rights
Subject to the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA) and applicable limitations, you may request confirmation of information held about you, access to that information, correction or deletion, or object to processing. Where processing depends on consent, you may withdraw it. We may need to confirm your identity before handling a request.
